In the Legacy Circle classes we conduct, one of the evaluation questions we ask at the end of the four-week sessions is: "What would you tell your friends about your experience"? Here are a few of the comments from attendees:
"Such self-examination in the interest of bequeathing to loved ones the most valuable aspects of one's life is an uplifting and calming experience." -- Widowed Mother of Four Children (in her 70's)
"A class of this type is a great experience, especially as a grandparent. I see myself looking forward as well as backward to ask what more I want to know about my ancestors. So I'll encourage other grandparents in this direction." -- Parish Nurse
"It delved into my life in such a way I can now share some valuable information with my family in an interesting manner. I look forward to my presentation of the words that came as a result of these sessions." -- Widowed Mother of Six Children (80 years old)
"Hearing the comments and ideas from the group gave me more insight and brought up memories of my life. It was a very good experience and I will keep going with it." -- Single Woman (in her 60's)
